Since 1981 works as a director of Tatar State opera and Ballet Theatre. In 1988 Raufal Mukhametzyanov had reformed the administrative structure of theater, he has entered posts of art directors of opera and ballet. As a result of using the contract system with its possibility to invitate the guest performers, the theater has reached almost festival level of execution of all performances. Stars of the Russian and foreign opera scene regularly take part in the International festivals of theater. In 1982 became the initiator and the organizer of Opera festival of F.Shaljapina. Having appeared in the status All-Russia, in 1991 the festival becomes international. In 1987 Raufal Muhametzjanov became the initiator of carrying out of festival of classical ballet in Kazan. Having appeared in the status All-Russia, in 1992 the festival becomes international, and since 1993 from Rudolf Nuriev's personal consent carries his name. Because of Raufal Muhametzyanov's activity since 1994 theater spends annual international tours of ballet and opera company in Europe (Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, France, Great Britain, Luxembourg, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, etc.), giving more than 120 opera and ballet performances in a year. Raufal Muhametzyanov has been put forward idea of formation of repertoire by an anthology principle when masterpieces of world musical theater, the Russian classics, and also outstanding products of composers of Tatarstan become its basis. Technical equipment which the theater has as a result of reconstruction, has allowed to reach in premier performances the level of last innovations of modern musicart. Since 1991 all performances of theater are executed in a source language. |
